With 12 goals and 4 assists in 40 appearances, Ayoze Perez was one of the main protagonists in securing relegation safety for Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle and according to Corriere dello Sport, he is another attacking player which Inter have added to the list of potential additions.

“Perez is 25 and knows how to play both in the flanks and through the centre as an attacking midfielder. Many clubs, including Inter have asked Newcastle for information on the players availability. The risk for Inter, is competing with the likes of Bayern, PSG and Atletico Madrid.”

“In his contract there is a €30 million release clause and it seems that Perez has been promised that should Newcastle receive a good enough offer, they will negotiate, which could mean he could leave for 20 or 25 million instead.”

“Before Inter move forward, they must decide on their priorities with whoever is in charge of the squad next season. While Radja Nainggolan and Matteo Politano are expected to be a staples, another attacking midfielder and wingers will be needed.”
