Inter scouts have watched Daniel Bessa recently with a potential Nerazzurri return on the cards for the current Genoa midfielder according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Bessa joined Genoa on an 18 month loan deal last January from Hellas Verona which is due to expire next month and as per the report, Genoa have no intention of taking up their option to purchase him for €5 million.

Inter are keeping a close eye on the situation of the 26-year-old. Due to his past in the club’s academy, he would count towards squad registration rules for continental competition.

The report does however go on to add that it can not be ruled out that Genoa and Hellas Verona could hold some fresh talks and strike a new deal at a lower price for the Brazilian-born Italian.

This season Bessa has made 33 appearances across all competitions for the Rossoblu. In 2253 minutes on the park, he has scored once and tallied four assists.
