Ivan Rakitic’s agent, his brother, Dejan Rakitic, has insisted that the Croatian international is happy at Barcelona amid continued reports linking him with a potential move away from the Camp Nou this Summer.
“Today the situation is easy to explain. Ivan is very happy at Barcelona,” he said in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb.
“Barça is one of the biggest clubs in the world, Ivan is happy to be a part of it but I don’t know what his future will be.
“He is eager to win the Copa del Rey. He wants to focus on playing the final and help in bringing home another trophy for Barcelona.
He concluded: “He has had a great season and many at Barcelona think that too.”
Rakitic has made 51 appearances across all competitions for the Blaugrana this term. In just over 4000 minutes on the park, the 31-year-old has netted five goals and provided nine assists for teammates.
