Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have moved into pole position to sign Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes according to a report from Spanish based newspaper Sport.
The Portuguese midfielder, who is currently on loan at Everton, has also drawn strong links to Inter as of late and Spurs look set to sign him having presented an offer to the Blaugrana of €30 million.
Gomes has also already given his blessing to the north London club who will be competing in next month’s Champions League final against fellow Premier League club Liverpool.
The 25-year-old midfielder, who was part of Portugual’s successful EURO 2016 winning side, has made 28 appearances whilst in Merseyside this season.
He has got himself on the scoresheet once whilst providing two assists in little under 2100 minutes on the park.
Gomes joined Barcelona from Valencia back in 2016 and is under contract with the Spanish giants through to the end of the 2020/21 season.
