Inter & Conte Have Had An Agreement Since January

Inter struck an agreement with Antonio Conte months ago to become the next manager of the club, starting next season according to a report from La Repubblica.

The Nerazzurri and former Italian national team manager reached an agreement over a three year contract with an annual salary of €9 million per season back in January.

Inter president Steven Zhang has now given the club management the final go ahead to secure Conte, who has been out of work since leaving Chelsea last Summer.

Conte has rejected the advances of both Milan and Roma from within Italy whilst it is also understood he knocked back some foreign clubs such as Paris Saint Germain.

The 49-year-old will be replacing Luciano Spalletti on the Inter bench and is expected to bring around a lot of change at the club as per various reports.

One of the biggest changes will be the formation with Conte expected to deploy Inter with one of his trademark three-man defence systems.
