Inter made an attempt to sign Vignato brothers Emanuel and Samuele from Chievo Verona during the January transfer window according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

As the clubs held talks over a possible joint collaboration for the signing of Brazilian goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao, the Nerazzurri brought the two brothers up in talks.

In the end, Inter ended up linking up with Parma for Brazao but thankfully the relations between Inter and Chievo were not affected therefore meaning it can not be ruled out that Inter could go in again for them.

The Milan based newspaper however warn that due to not being able to sign them in January, they could face increased competition for their signatures.

Elder brother Emanuel, 18, has played in each of the Gialloblu’s last six Serie A games, in which he has scored one goal and tallied one assist.

Younger brother Samuele, 15, is meanwhile starring in Chievo Verona’s youth academy and he is also an Italian youth international at under 15 level.
