Skriniar’s Inter Contract Renewal Will Be Made Official Soon

Milan Skriniar’s contract renewal with Inter will soon be made official according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

The player and the club reached a general agreement in recent weeks and the final details of the contract extension have now been ironed out.

The Slovakia international defender has agreed to a new deal worth €3 million plus bonuses a season to him. The salary will also rise each year in order to keep up with his presumed growth.

The signing of a new contract renewal is a strong sign of intent from Inter’s owners Suning and will also go a long way toward deterring some of the interest shown in the 24-year-old centre back lately.

Some of world football’s biggest clubs have come in for him but he has rejected their advances in favour of staying with the Nerazzurri.

This season Skriniar has made 43 appearances across all competitions for Inter. In 3887 minutes on the park, he has tallied two assists and made a significant contribution toward Inter having one of the best defensive records in both Italy and Europe.
