Manchester United are weighing up making a move for Inter transfer target Nicolas Pepe in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from British newspaper the Mirror.

Pepe is understood to tick all the boxes when it comes to being a player that United want to add to their ranks and they are confident that they can beat competition to his signature despite the fact they cannot offer Champions League football unlike many of their competition.

The 23-year-old Ivorian winger has starred for Ligue 1 outfit Lille this term scoring 21 goals and tallying 12 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.

The report from the Mirror goes on to detail that French giants Paris Saint Germain have made contact with the player’s representatives.

Manchester United, Inter and Paris Saint Germain aside, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Liverpool are all also believed to be interested in signing Pepe, whose departure from Lille this Summer seems inevitable.
