There is interest in Italy when it comes to signing Daniele De Rossi and Inter are one of the interested clubs according to a report from Sky Sport.

It was yesterday announced that De Rossi would be leaving Roma at the end of the season after Roma management decided against extending his stay at the club.

Due to De Rossi’s relationship with Antonio Conte, which was developed during Conte’s tenure in charge of the Italian national team, De Rossi could seriously think about joining the Nerazzurri.

The report from the broadcaster does however go on to state that as things stand, a move abroad looks far more likely for 35-year-old De Rossi, who has spent the entirety of his playing career on the books of the capital city club.

De Rossi has made 22 appearances across all competitions this season for Roma. In around 1500 minutes on the park, the Roma captain has scored twice and has one assist to his name.
