According to Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Inter are serious about signing Federico Chiesa but would like to find a way to bring Fiorentina’s asking price down.

“Inter is not in a position to deal with such a large deal using cash only. Inter would like to include some counterparts to lower the financial asking price and then try to wrap a deal up.”

“The Nerazzurri plan to lower the cash demand to around €40-45 million, while inserting Yann Karamoh as part of the deal. The young French winger is coming back from a decent loan spell where he was unable to find continuity.”

“Karamoh is not the only youngster that Inter are willing to include, they are also considering Zinho Vanheusden, who has been at Standard Liege for two seasons.”

“Emmers and Pompetti are two other Inter youth players that can be included in order to drive down Chiesa’s price.”
