Former Inter manager Jose Mourinho has spoken on Pep Guardiola overtaking him when it comes to trophies won having led Manchester City to the Premier League title at the weekend.

“Am I Annoyed by this? No,” he started the interview with beIN Sports.

“It simply reminds me that I have 25 trophies and that if I had continued to coach Porto or Inter, I could have had 31 because I would have had two more national super cups, UEFA super cups and Club World Cups.”

The Portuguese coach is widely regarded as one of the best managers of the modern game due to the success he has had at a number of clubs and he is currently seeking employment having left Manchester United at the end of last season.

There have been rumours in recent weeks that the 56-year-old could return to Inter although as per various reports, it looks like the Nerazzurri are set to appoint Antonio Conte instead come the end of the season.
