Stefan de Vrij and Matteo Politano are both doubtful to be available for selection for Inter’s match away to Napoli this weekend according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.
Dutch central defender de Vrij missed Inter’s 2-0 win over Chievo Verona on Monday night with an injury to his abductor muscle.
Italian winger Politano meanwhile sustained an injury during the match with the Gialloblu. Politano took a knock to his ankle and was forced to leave the field due to his injury.
As per the report, he is struggling with his recovery and his condition will continue to be monitored in the lead up to the game at the Stadio San Paolo.
The report that goes on to state that whilst de Vrij and Politano are doubtful, Matias Vecino is not a doubt. The Uruguayan managed just over an hour in Monday’s match which was his first match since returning from a thigh injury.
