Argentine national team manager Lionel Scaloni has named a 40 man preliminary squad for this Summer’s Copa America tournament, which is due to be held in Brazil.

Inter strikers Mauro Icardi and Lautaro Martinez both feature in the squad which will have to be trimmed down to 23 names before the tournament commences this time next month.

Aside from the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Paulo Dybala the squad features a number of names that will be familiar to Inter fans around the world including players like Manchester City’s Nicolas Otamendi and Atletico Madrid’s Joaquin Correa.

Several players who have drawn links to Inter in recent weeks and months such as Gonzalo Montiel, Walter Kannemann, Nicolas Tagliafico, Rodrigo de Paul and Maxi Meza all feature in the squad too.

Argentine find themselves in group B for the Copa America and will face group stage fixtures against fellow South American countries Colombia and Paraguay as well as tournament guests Qatar.
