Former Inter captain Mauro Icardi is not keen on a move to Atletico Madrid, should they try to sign him as a replacement for the departing Antoine Griezmann, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia claims.

According to the report, neither Icardi or his entourage have Ateltico Madrid high on their list of clubs they would be interested in leaving Inter for, although Atletico Madrid are still yet to make an official move for the former Sampdoria and Barcelona striker.

Furthermore, Sky Sport Italia report that, should Antonio Conte be appointed as Inter’s next coach after Luciano Spalletti, Icardi’s future will almost certainly be somewhere else rather than at Inter.

However, there is a chance that Icardi could stay at the club, if after having met with the new Nerazzurri coach, the two hit it off and decide that they wish to work together.

Although this is a possibility, as Sky Sport report, the most likely scenario is that Inter and Icardi will part ways in the summer.
