Having signed a contract extension with the club through to 2023, Inter defender Milan Skriniar had a message for the fans which the club posted to their official Instagram account.

“Ciao Interisti, today is a very important day for me,” he began.

“I’m very happy to have extended my contract with Inter. I would like to thank you, the club and my teammates.

“It makes me proud that I’ll continue to wear this shirt in the future. Forza Inter forever.”
