Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport reports in today’s paper, on the latest regarding Antonio Conte’s imminent arrival at Inter, discussing the important news about who could join him as his staff.

“Conte and his staff have been outlined. The new coach will begin work soon. As soon as Champions League qualification has been secured, which could even happen this Sunday against Napoli.”

“Joining the former Italy coach, will be Lele Oriali as club manager. And for Conte’s technical staff there are increasingly louder whispers of the possibility of Andrea Barzagli becoming Conte’s assistant. The 38 year old Juventus central defender announced his retirement from playing about a month ago and could move to Inter to join his old beloved coach.”

Furthermore, Corriere also report on Inter’s dealing on the transfer market starting with Diego Godin having been secured from Atletico Madrid and Milan Skriniar having officially renewed until the end of June 2023.

“Along with de Vrij, Miranda and Ranocchia, Inter’s defence for next season is almost complete. Manchester City’s Danilo could also arrive but there are still hurdles to overcome. Atletico Madrid are interested in Mauro Icardi but the Argentine has put up a fight and does not want to leave Italy. But Inter have already chosen Lukaku as his replacement.”
