According to Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, the money that Inter wish to spend on a top player during the summer will be the money they receive for selling Mauro Icardi.

“Icardi’s departure will be the only way the club will be able to increase its firepower in order to be able to aim for some of the biggest talents. At that point, Conte will be the one to decide what he would like to do in order to improve the team’s tactical project.”

“Lukaku is a player that he admires due to his very strong physical presence, but there is also Federico Chiesa, a shining Italian talent who has the ability and the drive to do well. Chiesa is also tactically versatile as he can play in either side of the pitch and in many offensive positions.”

Both of these players are likely to cost Inter a very hefty sum and Conte will be able to determine which of the two would improve the team overall.
