Sebastiano Esposito is expected to stay at Inter this summer despite attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool, Gazzetta dello Sport reported today.

Esposito has impressed for Italy’s under-17s at this summer’s European Championships and is receiving offers from across Europe, having made his first-team debut in the Europa League defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in March.

However, the youngster’s parents have assured his future will be at Inter, with Esposito already tied to the Nerazzurri until 2021.

“A family friend of Gianluigi Donnarumma’s, whom he often meets up with in Milan, Esposito has confirmed at the European Championships to be one of the most promising 17-year-olds on the continent,” Gazzetta said.

“Inter have protected themselves from potential suitors though by signing him through to 2021, the maximum possible given under-18s can only sign contracts up to three years in length.”

Esposito scored in Italy’s semi-final win against France on Wednesday and is expected to start in Sunday’s final against the Netherlands.
