Candreva Likely To Start Over Politano For Inter Tonight Against Napoli

Luciano Spalletti is hopeful that he will be able to call upon Matteo Politano tonight as Inter face Napoli in Naples but as things stand Antonio Candreva looks more likely to start according to a report from Sky Sport.

Candreva, who will be getting a very rare opportunity to start a match, will not be the only change that Spalletti makes to the Nerazzurri starting 11 that beat Chievo Verona 2-0 last weekend at San Siro.

Danilo D’Ambrosio and Marcelo Brozovic will return to the starting line-up having served their suspensions and they will replace Cedric Soares and Borja Valero.

The report from the Italian broadcaster goes on to state that Lautaro Martinez is currently favourite to start over Mauro Icardi but the run-off will go on right up until kick-off.

Inter predicted line-up (4-2-3-1): Samir Handanovic; Danilo D’Ambrosio, Joao Miranda, Milan Skriniar, Kwadwo Asamoah; Matias Vecino, Marcelo Brozovic; Antonio Candreva, Radja Nainggolan, Ivan Perisic; Lautaro Martinez.
