Sebastiano Esposito has shared his delight at how this season has went for him which has included making his debut for the Inter first team.

“I am living a dream, if someone in August had told me that what has happened to me this season would happen, I would not have believed them,” he began the interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

He then spoke on making his Inter debut in the Europa League against Eintracht Frankfurt.

“I didn’t expect to make my debut, it was the most exciting experience of my life.

“I was with the national team when Roberto Samaden called me to let me know that Spalletti had included me in the squad.

“When he came over and told me to warm up my heart started beating at a thousand beats. I realised a dream but that night will always be a starting point for me and not a finish line. I couldn’t sleep that night.”

The youngster then concluded by speaking on some first team players who have helped him.

“I have to thank Danilo D’Ambrosio, he looks after me like a brother. Then I would have to say Mauro Icardi too. He is impressive, formidable and unique.”
