Despite the fact he is seemingly on the verge of becoming Inter manager, Juventus are interested in bringing back Antonio Conte according to a report from La Repubblica.
The Bianconeri leadership believe that Conte is the perfect candidate to succeed Max Allegri on the bench next season.
Inter are however convinced that they have Conte on their side and he will succeed Luciano Spalletti.
If they are unable to bring Conte in, Juventus could well go after Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi, a coach who whilst not at the top, is certainly working his way up towards it.
The report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to detail that Juventus had also tried for former Inter manager Jose Mourinho, through his agent Jorge Mendes.
The Portuguese tactician has been out of work since being sacked by Manchester United at the end of last year but rejected Juventus’ advances due to his Nerazzurri past.
