Inter have presented Cagliari with a formal offer for their midfielder Nicolo Barella according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Nerazzurri have offered €30 million plus Facundo Colidio and Lorenzo Gavioli (who are valued at €10 million and €5 million respectively) meaning the total cost of the deal will be €45 million – a figure close to the €50 million demand that the Rossoblu have reportedly set.

The report goes on to state that Inter have already drafted up a contract for the Italian international, who is regarded as one of the top Italian prospects at the moment. Inter are ready to offer the 22-year-old a five year deal with an annual salary of €2.5 million.

Barella is a product of the Cagliari academy and debuted for the club back in 2015. He has since went on to make 111 appearances across all competitions for them.

This season he has made 37 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored once and tallied four assists.
