Andrea Carnevale, the head of Udinese’s scouting team, has discussed the highly-coveted Rodrigo de Paul’s future with the Udine-based club.

“He is a little star and I am convinced that he will become a very strong player,” he began an interview with Radio Sportiva.

“His future at the club? He has several admirers, even in Italy he could be tempted by some prominent clubs. He could play for any of the top four of five teams in Serie A.”

Inter are understood to be long-term admirers of the versatile Argentine attacker but they are not the only Italian club reportedly keen on signing him in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

Napoli are also believed to be interested in the 24-year-old, who is under contract with the Dacia Arena outfit through to the end of the 2022/23 season.

Outside of Italy, Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with him.
