Juventus Continue To Try For Inter Striker Icardi

Juventus continue to press for Inter striker Mauro Icardi but striking a deal with their arch-rivals over the Argentine forward will not be an easy task, FCInterNews.it detail.

Inter are understood to be demanding a sum of €80 million to let the 26-year-old go, whilst Juventus are only willing to spend €60 million to bring him to the Juventus Stadium.

Juventus have already offered Icardi a contract worth €8 million a season for five years and have promised him the number nine shirt at the club.

Numerous swap deals have been speculated about in the media from Gonzalo Higuain to Douglas Costa to Paulo Dybala, all of which are non-starters for various reasons.

As per the report, the Bianconeri had proposed offering one of Sami Khedira, Mario Mandzukic or Juan Cuadrado on top of a significant cash sum to their Nerazzurri rivals. Inter however are not interested in such a deal and insist that they only wish to sell Icardi.
