Ivan Rakitic is clear in his ideas about wishing to remain at Barcelona despite incoming signings possibly having an affect on his playing time according to a report from Mundo Deportivo.
The Croatian midfielder has drawn strong links to Inter in recent weeks and months and whilst he appreciates and very much respects Inter for the interest they are showing in him, he believes that he can continue to play as per usual at the Blaugrana.
He is under contract with the Catalan giants through to the end of the 2020/21 season and is understood to be keen to prolong his stay in the Camp Nou past that.
The 31-year-old has made no less than 53 appearances across all competitions this season. In almost 4200 minutes on the field, the 2018 World Cup runner-up has contributed five goals. He has also tallied double figures in the assists column with him having 10 to his name.
