Inter’s Italian international winger Matteo Politano will fit enough to be a part of the Nerazzurri squad to take on Empoli this Sunday, in the final game of the 2018/2019 Serie A season at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district, with kick-off scheduled for 20.30 CET.

At least according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia who report that Nerazzurri coach Luciano Spalletti has a full squad at his disposal going into the match that will decide if Inter will play in the Champions League next season.

This includes Matteo Politano, who injured himself in the match at home against Chievo two weeks ago and was brought off at half time against Napoli after an unconvincing first half.

According to the report, the former Sassuolo player did not partake in today’s training session with the rest of the squad as a precautionary measure, but is expected to lead the Nerazzurri’s attack as part of the trio up front together with Ivan Perisic and Mauro Icardi against Empoli.
