Pescara have shown an interest in signing Inter youngster Rigoberto Rivas ahead of the opening of the Summer transfer window according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Honduran midfielder has spent the season on loan with Serie C outfit Ternana and has performed well in the second half of the season which has resulted in the Delfini sparking an interest in him and not for the first time either.

The Serie B club have courted Rivas before and tried to sign him on loan back in 2017 but eventually lost out to Brescia.

At the end of the season Rivas will return to Inter, where he is contracted until the end of the 2021/22 season, and a decision on his future with the club will be taken whether that means staying, being loaned out again or moved on on a permanent basis.

This season the 20-year-old has made 13 appearances across all competitions whilst at Ternana in which he has managed to score once.
