Sampdoria have initiated contact with the agent of Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni to find out if the youngster has any interest in a move to them this Summer according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
La Samp have set their sights on signing the 20-year-old on loan to replace Joachim Andersen who looks likely to leave the club off the back of a good season with a number of clubs in England and elsewhere interested.
A move to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris would allow for the Italian youth international to build on the progress he has made whilst he has been on loan at fellow Serie A club Parma this season.
The report goes on to state that Inter and Sampdoria will meet with one another at the beginning of next month to hold talks over Bastoni.
This season Bastoni has made 24 appearances while on loan at Parma. In 1684 minutes on the park, he has scored one goal.
