Inter target Victor Moses has told reporters he wants ‘a new adventure’ after concluding a loan spell with Fenerbahce according to an unnamed source reported by FcInterNews.

The Nigerian international spent the second half of this season on loan in Turkey after seeing his game-time restricted at parent club Chelsea, making 13 appearances in the Super Lig and scoring three goals.

Moses, 28, unexpectedly became a key figure in the Chelsea team that won the Premier League title under Antonio Conte in the 2016-17 and could be tempted to join up with his former coach again in Milan.

“I’ve had a great time here at Fenerbahce but I won’t be here next season,” Moses told Fanatik.com.

“I want to experience a new adventure in my career.”

FcInterNews.it last week reported Inter were studying a €12-million move for Moses with the player requesting a four-year contract.

However, Turkish-football.com report exclusively that not only are the quotes attributed to Moses false, but that he is in fact very happy at the club and with life in Turkey, and intends to stay at the club.

“A source close to Fenerbahce spoke to Turkish-Football regarding the Moses situation. Chelsea loaned Moses to Fenerbahce on an 18-month deal in January.”

“The terms of the contract state that the Blues would be unable to recall the winger if they plan to play him next season. The Premier League outfit do however, have a call back to sell clause but the player must agree before it can be activated.”

“This leads to the next issue. There were reports in the Turkish and Italian press claiming to have quoted comments Moses apparently made in private. Moses did not make those comments and this would not be the first time quotes have been fabricated.”

“As things stand Moses has informed the Fenerbahce board that he is happy at the club and that he does not plan on leaving. Furthermore, the Nigeria international informed the club that he has not been contacted about an offer from Inter.”
