Former Inter forward Ruben Sosa has reminisced about his three years with the club between 1992-1995 as well as discussing some of Inter’s transfer business whilst suggesting one player he would like to see join the club.

“We had a great team, we won a UEFA Cup, we fought in the league against Milan. For me, Inter was the most important team I was in. I remember playing with 60,000 people screaming your name. I enjoyed my time at the club immensely,” he told EFE.

Sosa then spoke on countryman Diego Godin’s pending arrival at the Nerazzurri.

“He is the captain of captains, a player with an incredible experience, a leader, everyone follows him. I love the idea that he goes to Inter because he’s a champion, but I think Atletico shouldn’t have let him go.”

The 53-year-old concluded by suggesting one player Inter should sign in the upcoming Summer transfer window.

“Edinson Cavani. I love him and he must be at a bigger team, an Inter or a Juventus. I would say to him: ‘go straight to Inter’.”
