Inter will be in the third pot for the Champions League draw for next season’s competition according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Serie A champions Juventus are in the first pot, Napoli in the second pot whilst Atalanta, despite finishing higher than Inter in the table, are in the fourth pot due to having a lower co-efficient.

The results of the Champions League and Europa League finals will make some difference to the pots whilst there are still clubs to qualify via the qualifying rounds.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are to compete the Champions League final with the winner due to go into the first pot and the loser into the second pot.

Chelsea and Arsenal will meanwhile compete for the Europa League with the winner going into pot one and the loser missing out altogether. If Chelsea win, French side Lyon will qualify for the Champions League.
