Fabio Pisacane, the agent of Inter defender Danilo D’Ambrosio has praised his client for his team-player attitude.
“Football is a team game. Some give more, some give less but Danilo always made his contribution. He feels an incredible sense of responsibility,” he explained to FCInterNews.it.
“He works hard and keeps his head down. I have never ever heard him boast about his performances, he is always looking ahead.
“It is not easy to play at San Siro and at first maybe he had suffered a bit but he is a great professional before being a great player. He is an irreproachable athlete.
“His attitude makes him loved and respected in the dressing room, he really cares about Inter and the team appreciate him even more for this.”
He was then asked about interest in his client.
“As an agent it is my job to listen to proposals for my clients. Danilo has been doing very well for years. He had some enquiries from important clubs. However, Inter has always considered him non-transferable.
“Last year when rumours claimed it was all over for him, the Inter management emphasised to him that they did not even have the slightest of desires to let him leave. I would say that Danilo has repaid this trust with his performances.”
In conclusion he was asked about a possible renewal and the possibility of his client ending his career at the club.
“We’re talking about a renewal. There is an extraordinary relationship with the directors.
“He and I both hope that he can finish his career here. I know how happy he is in Milan and he is proud to play for the club but in football you can never tell what will happen.”
