Gazzetta dello Sport have relaunched the idea of Inter and Juventus swapping Mauro Icardi and Paulo Dybala during the upcoming Summer transfer window.

Both clubs need to make sales to balance their accounts and this transfer could well allow them to do this due to the fact both players have a low value against the budget. Icardi has a hit of just €2.5 million against Inter’s budget whilst Dybala’s hit is €17 million on Juventus’ budget.

There is a huge risk involved in this deal though. If one player performs well and the other doesn’t, one club has strengthened a rival whilst weakening themselves.

The two clubs will start to talk but reaching an agreement over a swap deal certainly will not be easy.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to report that Inter have long made their decision on Icardi’s future with the club in that he has no future.
