Inter are seriously thinking about a move to bring Daniel Bessa back to the club in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Inter have already made initial contact with his agent Federico Pastorello to discuss a return which could see very little, if any, money involved.

As per the report, Genoa value Bessa at €5 million but Inter could offer Xian Emmers plus another young player in exchange for the 26-year-old midfielder, who would count as a homegrown player for Inter in both domestic and continental squad lists.

Bessa joined Inter at youth level back in 2008 and progressed through the ranks before leaving permanently for Hellas Verona in January 2017.

During the 2018/19 season, Bessa made 36 appearances across all competitions, 34 of which came in Serie A as the Rossoblu narrowly avoided relegation to Serie B. In 2520 minutes on the park, Bessa scored one goal and tallied four assists for his teammates.
