Antonio Conte’s training sessions at Inter will focus as much on his players’ heads and hearts as it will their legs, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Conte released an autobiography in 2013 with the title ‘Testa, cuore e gambe’ (Head, Heart and Legs), explaining his 360-degree approach to coaching during the first part of his managerial career.

The Italian’s arrival at Inter is seen as the equivalent of signing a top player, with many of his former players having praised his qualities as a coach in the past.

“Conte is a pneumatic drill that gets inside his players’ heads, encourages them to overcome their limits and gets them performing at levels they’ve never reached in their careers before,” the Rome-based publication said.

“The fact he mentions the head and the heart in his autobiography title before moving onto the legs helps you understand just how thorough and all-encompassing his work is.”

Conte will take charge of his first training session as Inter boss when preseason training begins at the start of July.
