Inter are preparing a double swoop for Roma’s Bosnian international striker Edin Dzeko and Cagliari’s Italian international midfielder Nicoló Barella, according to Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to the report, there is an agreement in place between Inter and the former Manchester City striker, where the Nerazzurri have offered Dzeko a three year deal, identical to the deal Roma has made Dzeko.

This week the two club’s are expected to meet to finalize the deal, which is expected to cost Inter between €10-12 million as well as a player as part payment, it remains to be seen who that player will be.

Regarding Cagliari’s Italian international midfielder Nicoló Barella, negotiations are ongoing and Inter will soon meet with Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini this week to discuss the matter.

Giulini is asking for €50 million, but Inter are looking to include two players as part payment, with young Italian central defender Alessandro Bastoni among the ones that could be included, who had a great debut season with Parma.
