Inter Could Send Goalkeeper Radu To Cagliari As Part Of Barella Deal
Inter could send goalkeeper Ionut Radu to Cagliari as part of a deal for midfielder Nicolo Barella, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Radu, 22, impressed while on loan at Genoa this season and would like to stay with the Grifone for the 2019-20 campaign, after they preserved their Serie A status on the final weekend.
However, the Romanian youngster could be used as a makeweight in Inter’s negotiations for Barella if Cagliari sell Alessio Cragno to Roma.
The Rossoblu would need to find a new keeper if the Italian moved to the capital and Inter could look to use this to their advantage, with Tommaso Giulini keen to remain firm on his €45-50 million asking price.
Genoa would be happy to welcome Radu back next season but at the moment they cannot do anything but wait until Inter make a decision on his future.
Cragno would become Roma’s first-choice keeper after Robin Olsen and Antonio Mirante alternated in the campaign which has just finished.
