Inter have been offered the services of Arsenal’s French international central defender Laurent Koscielny but have turned the offer down, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia report.

According to the report, Koscielny was surprisingly offered to the Nerazzurri who showed no interest in the Frenchman given the plethora of top class international central defenders the club currently has its disposal.

Koscielny’s contract with Arsenal is set to expire at the end of June 2020, and the Frenchman has made it clear that he thinks its time to part ways with the club after having spent the past 9 seasons there.

According to the report, a move to the Serie A could still be on the books as Napoli are looking for reinforcements in their central defence and the 33 year old could be a low cost option given that he doesn’t command a high transfer fee.

Koscielny joined Arsenal in the summer of 2010 and has since then featured 353 times across all competitions for the club, scoring 27 times in the process.
