Inter could sell striker Mauro Icardi to Juventus this summer even without receiving Paulo Dybala in return, according to La Repubblica.

The Nerazzurri are keen to move the Argentine out of the club after a farcical second part of the 2018-19 season, which saw Icardi stripped of the captaincy and then refuse to play for a month.

Juventus are known to be interested in the 26-year-old and could agree to a swap deal that sees Dybala moving to San Siro, having already been close to Inter back in 2015.

However, if Dybala continues to express doubt over the idea of swapping Juventus to Inter then Icardi could move in the opposite direction in a straight cash deal.

Maurizio Sarri is expected to replace Massimiliano Allegri in Turin and would be happy to coach Icardi after chasing him as Napoli boss in the summer of 2016.

La Repubblica also reported Inter will today finalise a €13.5 million deal for Roma striker Edin Dzeko.
