Inter forward Andrea Pinamonti is attracting interest from Portugese giants Porto following his successful season on loan at Frosinone, according to FcInter1908.

The 20-year-old scored five goals in 27 appearances for the Ciociari, contributing three assists as well, who were unable to preserve their status in Serie A following their promotion in 2018.

Porto are eager to take the Italy under-20 international on loan with an obligation to buy for €18 million, but Inter are insisting they want at least €20 million.

Pinamonti received an enquiry from Ajax last summer and it remains to be seen whether other clubs around Europe could show an interest in him.

The striker has scored two goals for Italy’s under-20s at this summer’s World Cup, where they will face either Argentina or Mali in Friday’s quarter-finals.

Pinamonti’s first-half penalty took Paolo Nicolato’s side past host nation Poland on Sunday and has put them in firm contention for the trophy.
