The Italian Under-20 national team has reached the quarterfinals of the tournament after defeating Poland in the round of last 16 thanks to a cheeky penalty by Inter striker Andrea Pinamonti.

The young striker scored the only goal of the game in the 38th minute of the first half, chipping it into the middle of the net, a finish which made brought back memories of Andrea Pirlo’s penalty in the quarterfinal of Euro 2012 against England.

Italy will play the winner of Argentina and Mali on June 7th in the quarterfinals.
