Cagliari President Tommaso Giulini has told Inter that he is willing to accept their offer of €35 million cash as well as two players in order to let the Nerazzurri sign Nicolo Barella but only on certain conditions, local Sardinian newspaper Unione Sarda report.

According to the report, Giulini wants two young players of the highest quality which is why the Cagliari President has declined Inter’s including Facundo Colidio in the deal, given that he is deemed not to be ready to play in the Serie A.

However, Giulini has expressed that he is willing to accept left back Federico Dimarco, who spent this past season on loan with Parma as well as young midfielder Sebastiano Esposito, whom Inter have taken off the table given that they want to avoid another Zaniolo situation.

Dimarco has had a great season with Parma in the Serie A and Cagliari see him as the ideal replacement to Roma owned Luca Pellegrini, whose future is yet to be decided.

Inter are the favorites to land Barella but they shouldn’t get too comfortable, as Juventus are lurking in the background are ready to pounce and hijack the deal.
