FC Barcelona Sporting Director Ariedo Braida, tried to hijack Inter’s deal for Sochaux French midfielder Lucien Agoume, up until this past Monday but he failed to do so as the Nerazzurri had a deal in place with the player, FcInterNews report.

According to the report, Agoume and his representatives already had an agreement in place with the Nerazzurri and told the Catalan club this.

Furthermore, several Italian media outlets are now reporting that the meeting that began between Inter and Agiume’s entourage has now ended and that the deal between the player and the club has been finalized.

FcInterNews report further, that this coming Friday, Agoume’s agents, Djibril Niang and intermediary Crescenzo Cecere, will be in France to wrap up the final details with the Ligue 2 outfit, before putting pen to paper on a deal which will see the Nerazzurri pay Souchaux €4,5 million.

Agoume has been compared to Paul Pogba due to his style of play and position on the pitch.
