Inter’s first pre-season training camp under new head coach Antonio Conte is likely to take place in Lugano, according to Corriere del Ticino.

Conte was officially unveiled as Luciano Spalletti’s successor last week and has already visited the Stadio Cornaredo, along with the nearby Villa Sassa hotel, to study the facilities.

Inter’s preseason ‘ritiro’ will take place between 8-14 July and it looks increasingly likely they will hold it slightly further north of Appiano Gentile.

A final decision from the club is expected sometime next week.

The Nerazzurri will once again participate in the International Champions Cup during the off-season, where they will face Manchester United, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham.

Conte’s side will also play a selection of friendly matches against less prestigious sides before jetting off for the tournament, but these have not yet been announced.

The club are currently at work on the market to secure the former Juventus coach has the best possible squad available to him when the summer holidays end next month.
