Inter would consider accepting offers above €30 million for midfielder Radja Nainggolan this summer, Corriere della Sera understands.
Nainggolan endured a trying first season in Milan after arriving from Roma with disciplinary problems and injury woes limiting his success on the pitch.
Inter met with the Belgian’s agent yesterday Alessandro Beltrami to discuss another of his clients, namely Nicolo Barella, but may have discussed the 31-year-old’s future too.
The club would not be able to countenance selling the Belgian for less than €30 million if they wish to avoid making a net loss.
Barella is expected to arrive regardless of Nainggolan’s future, as Inter and Cagliari continue to ponder the right formula to satisfy both clubs.
Rossoblu president Tommaso Giulini values the 22-year-old at €50 million but is willing to accept players such as Sebastiano Esposito, Alessandro Bastoni or Eder as part of the deal.
Inter will meet Giulini before the end of the week and could offer left-back Federico Dimarco as an alternative to those names.
Beppe Marotta will then switch his attention back to Mauro Icardi’s future from Monday as he looks to organise a meeting with wife and agent Wanda Nara.
Icardi has no future at Inter after the club decided they want to sell him this summer, with Marotta hoping to set up a swap deal involving Paulo Dybala with Juventus.
