Inter could sell left-back Federico Dimarco to Cagliari as part of a deal to sign midfielder Nicolo Barella, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The clubs are expected to meet for further talks on Friday and are currently weighing up which of Inter’s young players should be included in the agreement.

Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini values Barella at €50 million and would probably want two players in the deal if Inter only offered €33-35 million in cash.

“There are a few priorities as far as names are concerned and one of them is Dimarco,” the paper reported this morning.

“He’s a talented left-back who plays with confidence and has just had a successful season on loan at Parma.”

Sebastiano Esposito and Facundo Colidio are two other players who could be included in talks, while Cagliari are also thought to be huge admirers of Andrea Pinamonti.

Pinamonti only has two years left on his contract with Inter and is attracting interest from various clubs overseas.
