Inter are monitoring SPAL’s Manuel Lazzarri and Lazio’s Adam Marusic as they look to sign a wing-back for new boss Antonio Conte, according to Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri would look to reduce Lazzari’s €20 million price tag by offering SPAL a young player as part of the deal, although they have made no official contact with the club yet.

Marusic would represent a cheaper option at €13-15 million, but Inter would be forced to negotiate with Lazio president and notoriously tough negotiator Claudio Lotito.

Conte is hoping to use a 3-5-2 system next season and will therefore need specialist players on the wings, with Alessandro Florenzi and Federico Chiesa also mooted as potential solutions.

Another two players linked by the Turin-based paper are Stefan Lainer of Salzburg and Mario Fernandes of CSKA Moscow.

Lainer was close to joining Napoli last summer and costs €15 million while Fernandes would be somewhat more expensive at around €25 million.
