Mauro Icardi would ‘jump at the chance’ of moving from Inter to Juventus as rumours of a swap deal with Paulo Dybala circulate, according to Tuttosport.
Icardi would have a unique opportunity in Turin to win trophies while also rehabilitating his image among the Italian public, not to mention the chance to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
Juventus would also offer him the €7 million wage pack he wanted to receive but has not been offered by Inter, who currently pay him €5.2 million per season.
“Inter certainly isn’t a friendly place for Icardi at the moment,” Tuttosport said.
“If he stayed there he would put himself at risk of a troubled season, between a lack of faith from Antonio Conte and a series of protests from supporters.
“Something has broken definitively between Inter and Icardi this season and there’s no chance they will be able to repair their relationship.”
Juventus could sign Icardi as part of a swap deal with Dybala or simply as a standalone deal, with Inter asking for around €70 million.
