Newly appointed Inter coach Antonio Conte has decided to remove Italian winger Antonio Candreva off the transfer market, as least for the time being, Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports.

According to the report, the former Juventus and Chelsea coach wants to keep Candreva because he sees the former Lazio man as an alternative for the right wing-back position and therefore he is not for sale.

However, despite having both Candreva and D’Ambrosio in that role Conte is looking for reinforcements for that role in his beloved 3-5-2 system. Conte has also, according to the report, decided to retain Perisic for the time being, wanting to see if he can adapt the Croatian international to the left wing-back role.

In conclusion Di Marzio reports that there are “excellent conditions for a deal to be concluded” regarding Cagliari’s Nicolo Barella’s rumored transfer to Inter, without specifying any more details.
