Wanda Nara: “I’d Stop Being Inter Striker Icardi’s Agent If He Asked Me To”

Wanda Nara has admitted she would agree to stop being her husband Mauro Icardi’s agent if the Inter forward ever asked her to.

Wanda has attracted an avalanche of criticism from supporters and journalists this season following her controversial methodology, criticising Icardi’s teammates on television and posting provocative messages on social media.

Speaking to L’Equipe in an exclusive interview, she explained how Mauro first asked her to become his agent and thanked the 26-year-old for having the courage to choose her.

“He kept asking me for advice with his decisions before eventually he said ‘you keep doing it,” Wanda said.

“I’ve never had a manager in my career, I’ve always taken all my own decisions. When I was with Maxi Lopez I left the room once when his agent came round, but then the agent came and asked for my advice.

“I have no interest to make money out of Mauro’s career like some agents do, because I’m his wife. I often waive my own commission fees because of that.

“I could very easily stay at home and not do anything but I wouldn’t be a good example for my children. Mauro has the final decision anyway.

“The fact I’m his wife and agent at the same time says a lot more about Mauro than it necessarily does about me.”
